The uniqueness of emporium is a result of my quest to provide the truly discriminating consumer a one-of-a-kind experience.

Planning a tea and coffee shop, I spent several years researching and learning and Zami’s coffee & tea was born. I continued on my quest and my tea and coffee dream expanded into emporium.

I hope you have as much fun browsing and sampling the items as I did in finding them for you.

Our Tea Story…
Our quest to bring you the finest of teas led us a diminutive lady who has been a part of tea plantations for generations and whose family continues to grow superb teas. With the help of her contacts from the plantations, we are able to import only those teas that meet our requirements of being truly unique.

Our Coffee Story…
This company was developed over several years. It was a process that began with a truly unique vision: An exquisite cup of coffee for those who really care. Our vision soon led to the realization that we needed help.

Help was found in a man with fifteen years of experience in the coffee industry. A promising collaboration ensued. He was one of only eight people (and the only American!) invited by the Ethiopian Coffee Group to evaluate their 2006 crop. Double blind testing 160 coffees, he found that one stood out above all the rest. The beans were from a nearby family owned plantation. He traveled to the grower’s house and arranged to buy all their coffee beans for the next five years. A limited supply is all that exists each year, and these are the beans that are in your cup of coffee.
