At Zami’s we use the Swiss Water Process™, a certified Organic, chemical-free method used for decaffeinating coffee. The Swiss Water Process™ takes green coffee and first soaks it in water to release flavors and solubles that contain caffeine. This liquid is then passed through a series of carbon filters, which work to filter out caffeine. The coffee is then “recharged” with this flavorful liquid and dried for market.

The beans are roasted by a small hand-supervised roaster in Seattle, WA and then shipped to us. We stock only small amounts so that your coffee is always fresh and never bitter.

Our coffee is best stored in a dark, dry place. Refrigerating or freezing our coffee does not allow the beans to go through their natural release of nitrogen, thereby compromising flavor and quality.
